He later became the president of South Africa. During his tenor he fought inequality,poverty and racism.After many years of white dominance. He spent almost 20-25 years in prison due to his campaign against apartheid,where blacks are minority.
He won several awards which includes medal of freedom,Nobel peace prize etc.
Mandela was a legend and champion because his action change life and he made history.
He sacrificed everything for south africa. He became their savior. Nelson was immortalized in my mind when Serena Williams said she will play Indian well competition after abandoning it for several years. She said Nelson act of forgiveness made her to change her mind.
Nelson Mandela though you left us on December 5 2013 you will never be forgotten.
